Our lives for one year in eight suitcases, 400 pounds
It was amazing packing. I panicked when I realized the luggage weight limit was no longer 70 pounds, but 50. I don' t have that many fluffy clothes. (In hindsight, I should have filled all airspace with tampons of the non OB type, sigh).
As you can see, I'm a bit of a Western Girl. Love the desert. Into animals. Big hair, small clothes. I go to the gym religiously. Artist, feminist, teacher, mama.
From August 2006 to July 2007 I lived and worked in Turkey. So check the archives if you want to know what it's like there.
Now I'm back in the fastlane in SoCal. Sending you all kisses...
