Railing Follows Sailing
Took the train from Istanbul to our Anatolian City (Hubby requests our specific locale not be posted). The train is so comfortable after a 24-hour plane trip: wide seats, tea and French fries in the dining car, quiet. Turkish countryside is lovely and wild.
As you can see, I'm a bit of a Western Girl. Love the desert. Into animals. Big hair, small clothes. I go to the gym religiously. Artist, feminist, teacher, mama.
From August 2006 to July 2007 I lived and worked in Turkey. So check the archives if you want to know what it's like there.
Now I'm back in the fastlane in SoCal. Sending you all kisses...
