Intelligence Counts
The other day I was talking with someone, and mentioned the last time I had done such-and-such I was in Istanbul. There was a beat of silence. And then he said, where is Istanbul? He was a computer engineer.
Sigh. Possible. But he probably knows all the teams of whatever the hell season it is now, which I don't. I am sometimes such a smug little b***h (nod to Gram). kiss
As you can see, I'm a bit of a Western Girl. Love the desert. Into animals. Big hair, small clothes. I go to the gym religiously. Artist, feminist, teacher, mama.
From August 2006 to July 2007 I lived and worked in Turkey. So check the archives if you want to know what it's like there.
Now I'm back in the fastlane in SoCal. Sending you all kisses...

Maybe he hadn't heard about the name change?
