I have to leave this profession. We can only put up with so much before we just. can’t. teach. one. more. day.

Hi Kloe,
As Turtle said, "hang in there!" I do not know how many times I had the same feelings as you are having right now, things happen and make everything worth while for teaching...again...
I checked an old VHS tape of Allen Ginsberg out of the library today- he was talking about how he had managed to create such a large catalog of great poetry, photography and music...
"persistence, continuity, stubborness... year after year, after year, after year, after year, after year, after year...!"
I don't know if that has anything to do with teaching or not, but he made the struggle with creativity sound so noble and fulfilling I thought I'd share it with you.
